My daughter played this game with some friends of hers while on vacation. She LOVED IT!!! So when she saw it for sale in the add, she added it to her Christmas list and circled it to make sure that I wouldn't miss it.

My four-year-old and seven-year-old were so excited to play once it was opened on Christmas morning that they immediately set it up for a match. We played it several times over the break, and they even played it against each other. They enjoyed the fact that we are all able to play the game together, rather than watching each other play in pairs.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas and we have played this as a family several times already. It takes a different kind of strategy than regular Mancala, but it is also nice that it is for four players instead of just two. I also like that it came with a few extra stones.

This is a fantastic game. We use it as therapy for our son who acquired dystonia in his hand from surgery for a brain tumor. Great therapy and lots of fun for the whole family!

This is a well enjoyed game. The first marble touched cracked in half, so appreciated the couple extra in the bag. We would appreciate bigger 'cups' for the accumulation of marbles as many would overflow and be difficult to scoop up.

4 Player Mancala has been a hit in our family after years of fighting over who plays the 2 player version. The only negative? The stones are all different sizes, it would be better to have one uniform size.

It took us a while to decide which rules worked best for us. I think it's a game that needs to grow on you. Also, it would be very useful if the name Mancala was imprinted or burned into the wood so that if the instructions are misplaced there is a reference for getting the rules online.

I use this in my classroom when we study the ancient empire of Mali. Kids even choose it as an indoor recess activity.

What an ingenious way to get the whole family involved. If you love mancala then mancala for 4 will be a welcome addition to family game night. It's sturdy and nicely made. We'll have it for years to come.
