Just received...Item is the Slinky Brand product even though not specified here. Chose this item because I thought it was different from the poorly reviewed Slinky brand. Find out it is one in the same.

The protective adhesive paper covering the large acrylic base was an absolute nightmare to remove. It took my daughter and I more than 30 minutes to remove it from both sides, and even then there were still sticky bits remaining. We just finally got tired of it and she wanted to use it.

My daughter loves this set but when we first opened it the plexiglass had a paper cover on it and it was VERY difficult to remove. Causing it to be scratcheded.

My daughter is nine, but starts enjoying this right after opening the box. I help her cut paper furniture and small stuff and she enjoys coloring them. Rooms have to be basically rectangles, no creative round corners, but I think this is just appropriate for the age range. She looks forward to using this when we really moving to a new place.
