This has been great for my 8 year old to practice floor plan design. I think the design is lacking when it comes to placing the walls. One wall size did not have corresponding plexi walls. And the connecting pieces allow too much play so the whole model shifts when you move one wall. So you're constantly fixing the other walls. The connectors are also very bulky.

I have to rewrite my earlier review as I did find the acrylic board covered in what looked like cardboard. Very difficult to take off though. The concept of this architectural project is good, but the directions are not. I have done interior design for 30 years and do not find this easy for a child of 9 years. My grandson definitely needed an adult to help and get started.

Our granddaughter is 9 and has a keen interest in house plans and house design. We got this for her for Christmas and she is thrilled. She has already spent considerable time with it.
