The entire family got involved in creating an awesome marble roll maze! It's hard to find "toys" for the tween kids that aren't electronic so this was a real hit! Lots of good thinking skills and cooperation happening!

this was the only thing on my son's birthday list. he loves it! you can do so many things with this set, never gets boring, he plays with it for hours.

This is a great product as far as creativity. It did have a couple of problems that I noticed. The first thing is that all of the pieces have a whole that allows the marble to pass through so that they just kind of go everywhere after they run the maze. Also the pieces are made out of a hard plastic that is easily broken when putting them together, especially the ends of the coaster tubes.

i was disappointed in Q-Ba-Maze. The lack of good instructions really slowed down the 'fun' time. One end on each of the tubes broke off in the first hour! The pieces fit together (once one figures it out) but not tight enough to slightly move the structure. Over time, my grandchildren learned that low spread out structures were the way to go. The tall structures didn't hold up well. This toy did not live up to what I consider Mindware Standards - it just wasn't made as well as it should be AND it did not have good instructions. The concept is good but I'm sorry I spent well over $100 for this.

directions very poor. Stability after built is poor. Age range was not accurate for my grandchildren. An 11 year old did it without help, but took him some time. The idea is great, but it is for older children and needs a more stable base. Our younger grandchildren loved dropping the marbles thru, but could not be involved in the building.

11 year old boy and 9 year old girl loved getting this for holiday. They began clicking pieces together right out of the box. The older kid was following the design plans with no help, and the younger was making her own path ways and adjusting them.

Bought the three-box set for a big Christmas present. It actually plays more as a building toy than marble run, but fun for a child who enjoys the challenge of following instructions and creating something. My son is 7 1/2 but fairly advanced academically. He was able to understand the instructions right away after we explained that they are bird's eye view. In fact, by day two he created his own run with his own hand-made instructions mimicking the official ones. We also went online to download other runs from the maker's website (fish, etc.). His little sisters love dropping the marbles in after he has created the runs for them. It's a durable set that appears will last for generations. Only downsides for us are that there is no catch for the marbles at the bottom (we built it on a tray to prevent roll off) and it would be nice if the set came with a bag for the dozens of marbles included. Price was also probably a bit high but at least it is a quality item that should last.

Good quality toy, but not easy to use. It would be helpful if it came with more building suggestions.

The set lets you use your imagination to build neat creations. The kids followed the two examples given to get the hang of it, and then they created their own designs. The extra pieces, like the trampoline, were fun.

THe pieces don't fit together well. Whatever he tries to build comes apart quickly, so he can build nothing. I totally wasted my money and wasted over $100.
