I bought this for my 3 yr old for Christmas and we've played with it everyday since. He's able to build several simple tracks by himself but likes it when I join in because my tracks are more complex. He loves dropping several marbles at a time going down various paths and watching them "race". I originally wanted a smaller set but it was on back order. He had his heart set on a marble track so I bit the bullet and got him the mega pack and it was the best decision ever! There are so many pieces that we can have several different people building tracks at one time.

Both my 4 and 6 year old love this marble run. My only suggestions are: Include suggested configurations. Add a few more 'marble collection' pieces for the bases as you can end up with marbles stuck inside pieces or just free falling out onto the floor.

We bought this for my niece for Christmas. My husband and his brother couldn't wait to play with it. My niece will love it. It is made well and has a variety of parts to make tons of different tracks. I look forward to my daughter being old enough for one.

This is the only marble run that I could find that has path splitters, like the set that I had as a child. This set comes with 2 splitters, and they have a little tab that makes the path alternate for each marble. It's sturdy and fits together well. We have a Quercetti marble run that I can't stand - it is overengineered and difficult to put together, in addition to not fitting together well. This one is WAY better; I may even like it better than my old set.

I bought it for my 5 year old, but my 8 year old loves it. It has worked out because they build together. They spend hours on it. It is a bit tricky to balance all the towers during the build, but once it is constructed, they love it.

I was hoping this would be a thought-provoking activity for my granddaughters and their dad! (He just can't get into the doll play!) This worked. Dad became just as engaged as my seven year old granddaughter. The four year old found it a bit difficult, but with adult help, she was fine. The four year old and the seven year old were not successful together... I am also glad I got the larger set. The more pieces, the more runs for the marbles!! Easy to take apart and store. I was also glad there were no directions or patterns to create--that really "forced" the girls to problem solve and create on their own.

We got this for my almost-9 year old daughter. She, along with everyone else in our house, is having a blast with it. It requires some creativity and some engineering and provides many hours of multi-generational fun!

Santa brought this for my 3 kids ages 11, 7 and 5. All them have fun with it and they have a good time together. There is enough peices that they can each build a section and there is no fighting. The peices fit well and are easily put together by my 5 year old.

Although this product captured my children's attention (children aged 10-3), and kept them busy, I was kind of disappointed that it didn't give a diagram of things that could build. I fell that with that diagram it would be easier for us to make our own "towers" that work.

I bought Marble Run for my 4 year old grandson. It reminded me of a sculpture in our local mall where balls drop and move parts, similar to the marble run toy. Kids of all ages love that sculpture so I thought he would like having a similar toy at home. All three grand kids play with it so it's even a better purchase.

This was the one gift our 5 year old got for Christmas that we have all enjoyed! I think she would have been a little overwhelmed by all the parts just by herself but it has turned into a wonderful family fun item. Our child spins hours dropping marbles down the different runs and entertaining herself after we have all spent time building the structures. I highly recommend this marble run to families that enjoy spending hands on quality time with their children. We plan on getting another set for more options.

Great for one person or several to play with at once. Our nine year old granddaughter wanted it for Christmas, and it was a Big Hit. Older sister, parents, grandparents were all captivated and involved. Worth the money. The only imperfection I could see was a little wobbliness setting it up on the rug because of narrow bottom pieces. This toy is a winner for all ages.

This marble run is fantastic! It has so many parts that my 4 year old son can always put together different marble runs, and huge, mega runs. He loves it, and it keeps him independently busy for quite some time. Great toy!

I bought this for my 5 and 7-yr old despite the much lower age range that was advertised. I can't imagine a 3- or 4-yr old being able to appreciate this like older kids might. It was hands-down the coolest gift of the season. There are so many ways to build and configure this; then once it's built, it's so much fun to send the marbles down the different paths. The best part? The marbles can go down a chute, become airborne, and land in baskets to continue the run. Awesome toy. I seriously spent two hours playing with it one night after the kids went to bed, with the "excuse" that I would surprise them with a newly configured marble run in the morning... but in all honesty, I just couldn't get enough!

I sent this as a Xmas gift to my two grandchildren in Texas (ages 11 and 6) . According to my daughter, both thought this was a terrific present. I believe this will provide an intellectual and aesthetic challenge in solving the various engineering problems to make the marbles run properly.

Is a great inside activity on cold days when kids are not able to go out to play. It helps with imagination, cooperation, and problem solving. It doesn't take a lot of space when it is in use. Love it!!

Bought this for my four year old grandson. Dumped it all out and it is hard to know what goes where to make it operate! Some sample patterns would be so easy to include but it's really trial by error and never did get anything at all like the picture on the box. Grandson made a long tube while I tried to get it to work. Fun for a short time. When he's older I think he will like it more.

My girls (ages 4 and 8) really enjoy the Mega Marble Run. I like the fact that it leads to a lot of creativity and a bit of planning to make runs that will work the way the girls are hoping it will. I have noticed that the construction will fall over easily if it is built too high. I think this could be improved with wide base pieces. Also, I am not a huge fan of the plastic pegs that are used to hold the base pieces together. My daughter has already broken one and I don't feel that she was being too rough with it. Extra pegs or pegs made of a stronger material would be nice. Overall, I would recommend this product. It appeals to a large range of ages.

My 6 year old grandson loves creating new combinations. I love how it offers him a chance to think something through and then see the results of his ideas. I would buy this again for my other grandchildren.
