Parents, grandparents, and grandchild has already played this game a bunch of times. We all love it. Cards are very colorful and fun to look at. My grandchild really loves this game and it was her favorite game she received this Christmas.

This game has a fun concept, but we were disappointed with the number of strange/scary pictures that are included. I have 8- and 10-year-olds and we removed about a fifth of the pictures cards that were too creepy for them (i.e. vampires baring fangs, scary clowns, weird gargoyle things, loose eyeballs rolling around in things, etc.). My kids might be a little sensitive, but it just seemed unnecessary when the cards could have all been fun or funny like most of them are.

Originally I thought you could make up your own captions and expected it to be funner. It’s a fine game. Easy enough. But some of the pictures are definitely inappropriate for children if purity and pure thoughts are a value to your family. So after figuring that out I had to throw away some pictures and some captions. Also, the cards are hard to see if you are playing with a big group. If they were bigger, it would be much easier for all to see clearly.

We purchased this game as a present. Not only were all our family members able to play with minimal instruction, but it was fun and started many cross generational conversations. We laughed about some of the choices that people made for the captions even after we had completed the game. Family members who are usually uninterested in games were drawn in by the fun we were having and eventually gave it a try themselves. It was easy to understand and easy for everyone, regardless of age to play.

This is basically like a photo version of apples to apples, which means it can be fun for a wider variety of ages as well. We did have to explain some captions to our 7yrar old, and there are a few cards that may not be well suited to younger kids (too scary or inappropriate), but for the most part these have not been an issue. We had lots of fun playing this over the holidays!

This game is way more fun than Apples to Apples. My grandkids (ages 4-13) and my own children, love the captions and picture cards. So easy for anyone to play. Grandkids want to play this every time they come to my house, so guess who's getting the game for Christmas?!

This was our New Year's Eve go to game. We had such fun with this game. It's interesting to see which players have similar senses of humor and tastes. It turns out that my son and I have the same sense of humor and my husband and daughter are opposite of us. This game is a blast!

Great family game. Have played this many times since we got it. Have played with multiple generations and all have had fun. It is a different game each time we have played it. I think we have seen all the picture cards, but having the best picture to go with the caption varies. It also depends on who the judge is--what you like best may not be what the judge likes best. For those that don't know: each player gets 8 picture cards. The judge (you take turns being the judge) pulls a caption card and reads it. Then the rest of the players select one of their picture cards that they think the judge will think best fits the caption. The cards are given to the judge upside down so the judge doesn't know who the picture cards belonged to. The judge selects the picture card he/she thinks is best and the person that gave the winning picture gets the caption card. As you can see, the game is different each time depending on who plays and which picture cards are in play for each caption card. The judge also makes a difference, as what you think is best may not be what the judge likes best.

Three generations played this game together and it was great fun. We gave this as a Christmas present to our soon-to-be 8 year old granddaughter. She quickly caught on to the advantage of appealing to the judges' taste. Her 14 year old sister did the same and also was aware of nuances. The photo cards are varied in subject matter, colorful and plentiful. The caption cards are clear and easy to understand or interpret. We all had a lot of laughs as we played several times during our visit.

I gave the Picwits! game to my 10 year old granddaughter for Christmas as well as several other products from MindWear. As soon as we had some time that day, the whole family - 14 people - started playing the game. Everyone absolutely loved it and we had a lot of fun. We opened this game at our annual Christmas gathering and got the whole family involved (three generations). Everyone had fun and all got the opportunity to interact with the table of players. We haven't laughed this much in years!

The game is rated for 10 and over and I didn't understand why until we started playing with an eight year old. The concept is perfect for any child who can read, however many of the pictures are quite scary and somewhat disturbing. Even her 5 year old brother was enjoying the game until he drew some of the pictures. Next time we play I will go through the pictures first and remove about 25% of them.

Played this as a family with our two teenagers. It was fun. There are some odd pictures in this deck. This reminds me of Apples to apples with pictures
