Not suitable for a not-quite-7 year old as described. (2 months shy of 7). Poorly written directions in very small print. Child lost interest because mom had to get very involved in describing how to use it.

Bought this for my nine year old niece for Christmas. She started making them immediately, and had a blast making them for her cousins.

My daughter loves this! When we run out of beads and strings, we will just go to the craft store and buy more. She loves to get creative with the barrettes.

I got this for my 5 year old so she's a little young for it. She can't do much of it by herself but really loves designing them and wearing them.

My daughter loves this gift from Santa. She loves crafts and this was the perfect craft for her age, she is 6. She has made a few barrettes now to give to her friends. Also, a great way for her to work on those fine motor skills!

My 8 yr old daughter loves it. She is making one for all her friends. 3 minutes of instruction on my part, she's been independent ever since!
