Very poorly designed product. Assembly is based on GLUING the pieces, so the final product falls to pieces after couple of throws. It should have been much better to have nuts and bolts with predrilled holes.

I saved all my money to get this catapult, which I'd had my eye on for a long time. I'm almost 8 and the instructions were easy enough for me to follow by myself...mom and dad had to check my progress every once in a while. When I lost 2 pieces, I e-mailed MindWare and asked if they'd send replacement parts; they sent me another whole box for twice the fun! NOW I have 6 beanbags instead of 3. I play with the catapult every night before I go to bed, and when my friends come over they think it's totally cool!!!! I love the product and I love the customer service!!!!

I purchased this for my 16 yo nephew for Christmas and got lots and lots of thanks. I was worried at first because the age limit was 7+ but he loved it! I really like to get toys for kids for Christmas and I know that 16 is really pushing the limit. I was happily suprised. He had it put together and was happily using it 3 days after Christmas. Would highly recommend this product and don't be scared off by the age limit. A good value for the money.

The child it was given to likes to tear things apart so this was given to him to build and use to destroy like building up cards. Worked.

My son received this as a gift and he absolutely loved it! He loved that the instructions look like blueprints on blue paper. He felt grownup making this project and it is so sturdy he and his friends have been shooting all sorts of objects at the included target all weekend. I HIGHLY recommend this product.

This was easy to build and the glue included is strong. My 9 year old has been playing with it since we built it a couple days ago. Fun product!

This was a Christmas gift for my 7 year old grandson.He learned a lot from building it and loves to compare projectile's distances.

My 10 year-old son LOVED this! He had a blast putting it together with his dad. The hardest part was getting him to wait the 12 hours for it to dry.

My son loved this toy! He built it by himself and then challenged his father to a knock down testto see who could knock down a castle faster with the catapult. This was great for a 12-year old birthday gift.
