I purchased this for my granddaughter's 6th birthday. She is now 6 1/2 and can only do it with her mother. She is very co-ordinated, so we were very surprised.

This product is okay. It is fairly well made and I like the pull-out drawer. I could make the bracelets just fine. But the bracelet kept slipping out of the butterfly clip and I just got bored with it because really all you do is tie knot after knot after knot.

bracelet maker only shows how to make one type of bracelet! the only bracelet that it shows how to actually make my 10 yr old daughter can already make. dont waste the $25 on this product!

A great product for kids who have enough patience to finish the project. Easy to learn, my 5 year old enjoyed working a bracelet, but didn't quite make it to the end. I think he'll go back and finish it after a break. There are also video instructions on YouTube if it is hard to get started.

She got the hang of the bracelet maker pretty quickly, but it is hard to stop and then pick it back up. Creating some sort of 'place holder' would help. Also, clip is a little weak, bracelet popped out a few times.

Great tool, but the bottom section does not hold the string quite tight enough. It took my 8 year old several days to get the hang of it since the strings kept coming loose, but once she did it was a blast!

This is a neat product and great idea for organizing the process. It is rated at age 6+. My daughter has great fine motor skills and this is hard for her. It really is a product for ages 8+ at least due to the fine motor skills of knot tying and looping. The process is an easy knot but hard for her hands to single out the threads and keep straight.

I gave this to my 13 year old granddaughter for Christmas. When it first arrived, her mother and I thought it looked too juvenile. She loves it and has been busy making key fobs and braclets for her family and friends.

This bracelet maker was given to my 7 year old granddaughter. After showing her how to intertwine the string, she got the hang of it and was on her way to creating many bracelets. She loves it. Adults enjoy it too! Can't put these items down. Once you start, you can't stop. Half the fun is seeing the finished product. Fun! Fun! Fun!
