It worked very well. My granddaughter and I had fun making the delicious chcolates.

This looked like it would be a great kit, but was really disappointing. The cocoa butter was discolored when we opened the pack so maybe that had an effect on the finished product. The chocolate when finished was inedible - it was way too hard to bite and tasted terrible. The box made around 8 small chocolates - which we promptly threw out. I wouldn't buy this again.

My 9 year old daughter loved this kit. The chocolate was great. She was able to do the entire kit herself and learn about the origins of Cocoa.

I sent the Make Your Own Chocolate Kit to a friend's 8-year-old daughter for Christmas and it was a huge hit. My friend sent photos of her daughter making the chocolate and then decorating and showing a plate full of the chocolate treats. They said the taste was great and both mother and child thought it was the best gift.

The make your chocolate kit was a success and it worked out well. The history about chocolate was amazing and I never knew where chlorate came from and how it was created! I would recommend this fantasic produt.

My son asked for this for his birthday and he couldn't wait to make it. The recipe is easy to follow and good. The history info was just enough to learn something but not lose interest, perfect amount of information. He really enjoyed tasting the cocoa beans in raw form as did the rest if the family. Highly recommend!

The girls had a blast making the chocolate and the included raw bean was a great addition which they liked experimenting with (I encouraged them to try and turn the bean into chocolate). The resulting treats are tasty if you like dark chocolate. Overall, the kids were happy so I am happy.Cons: The history was disappointing, (more of a note, not enough info in my opinion) I expected more based on the description. Also, the package was much smaller than I imagined.
