It was a great Xmas gift for my 7yr old grandson. I am sure he and his grandpa will have many hours of fun using their imagination.

My son enjoys building not only contractions for balls, but also buildings, fences, etc. The only drawback is the lightness of the pieces, requiring extreme care not to knock over his creations.

I gave this to my godchild for Christmas... he loved it..what a great time he had making things to see if the balls would make it down..highly reccomended

I love the number of design possibilities. The color pictures in the manual was helpful. I love how it engages my seven year old son, but he did need the help of an adult for the more complicated constructions. He was able to construct the simpler ones on his own. He has been able to create his own designs. I would have loved if it had attachments, but we have used rubber bands and that has helped somewhat.

We bought the set for my 8 year son - he loves it as does his 16 year old brother and 14 year old sister. When friends come over they gravitate to contraptions and don't even want to play video games. A great product never gets boring!

Too bad I can only give this 5 stars. Our 8 yr old son likes these so much he is wanting another set for Christmas this year so that he can build even bigger contraptions. I can't count the number of hours he's spent w/this. He does get frustrated some times when things come crashing down before completion but I remind him that it is a chance to build it stronger and better.

It is pretty basic, not much to it. But my child loves it. He can be creative and build different creations.

My 8 year old grandson picked this out of the catalog as a gift he wanted for his birthday. This set is awesome and he and his siblings have been using it constantly since he got it and they all love it! They continually change what they build and brings out the creativity in all ages! Can't say enough good things about this...love it! Thanks for selling toys that help to educate while they are having fun!

My 9 year old Legomaniac adores this creative building set! He enjoys building the models in the instruction booklet, creating his own unique structures and, of course, the big demolition at the end. He is saving up to buy another set to add on!

As a mother of 10, this is by far the best toy I have ever purchased. In fact, I just bought another set because all of our 5 kids 10 and under LOVE to play with this set for hours on end. Truly, the best money I have ever spent on a toy! Love it!

Our 6 and 9 year old are learning about physics and engineering without even realizing it. It's their favorite toy and they play with it daily.

Disappointing!! Keva blocks used to be made from solid maple in Maine. Now they are made of pine in China. They are also of a slightly different size than the our old solid-wood set, so we can't use the two sets together if we want to make structures needing any precision.

My son hasn't stopped playing with this since receiving it for Christmas. He has built ramps for going down the stairs, across the coffee table to bounce down to the ramp on the floor, and also all along the hardwood floor.

My 9-year old daughter has had a great time building things with this. It's a little tougher for my 6-year old, but she enjoys it as well.It is a bit simple (just a bunch of wooden planks and a couple of balls really), but that doesn't make it any less fun.The instruction booklet isn't as descriptive as it could be and in a lot of the pictures it's hard to tell how many planks are stacked to get certain effects, but we just treat it as a general guide with ideas on what to build.

My 14 year old son and my 6 year old daughter both love these blocks. They've built countless bridges, towers, and ball-rolling devices with them. We thought there would be stability problems, but there have been towers over 5 feet tall on carpet that haven't fallen down even with kids running in circles around them. I would recommend these to anybody whose kids love to build things.

We knew this was not a tight fitting product, pieces are placed on each other to form towers and ball runs and other constructs. Knowing that, we were not disappointed like other comments. Our son likes open ended toys that can be used to create his own constructions. So, he likes this, and in the few days he has had it, he has created some fun things with it. It is a fun set.
