We have not got the chance to use this kit yet but I have gone through it and my daughter is very excited to use it...She loves dective work and figuring things out so I think this is the perfect present for her :D

The 'kit' appears to come in a metal-like box. No fancy box just a bunch of little parts with nowhere to store them. My granddaughter picked this out of your catalog and was visibly disappointed. It should have been worth about $10. Very disappointed.

I was disappointed that the kit in the magazine looked as if it came in a case. Instead, it was a paper box that had a case printed on it. The contents will have to be stored elsewhere and will involve clutter.

This kit is really interesting! We had trouble using the finger print powder and the invisible ink ran out fast. Overall, this is a good product.

The box that the kit came it is very flimsy and not good for storing stuff. It looked like a briefcase in pic. A plactic briefcase would be better storage than box which get torn-up. My grandson is 10 and needs something more than the box. Otherwise a good idea.

I gave aforensic kit to my 10 year old granddaughter for Christmas. She is excited about it. The fingerprint component is her favorite. I asked how she liked the kit. She replied, 'I love it!'. It stimulates her interests in science, and provides application of skills.

My 8 year old daughter got this kit for Christmas and loves it. She now has crime scene tape on her bedroom door and everyone in the house has been fingerprinted! She pretends that she is just like the forensic investigators on TV. I love that she is interested in science.
