4 year old took to this toy like a duck to water. Great for building dexterity with fingers and takes some thought to what he is doing. Kept him playing with it for hours and thankfully kept him quiet. A great toy.

This is a great toy! I bought it for my almost 4 year-old; both he and my 7 year-old love it. There are many opportunities to build, learn, and grow with this toy. It will not disappoint a little builder/thinker.

The drill does not work, waiting for a replacement from Mindware. Over all the toy looks great, and can't wait for our little one to be able to fully use it.

This is a fabulous concept and toy for kids. I would have given it a 5 except that the drill with our set is defective and we are awaiting a replacement for it.

I gave this to my 2-year-old nephew. He first banged on the screws, but now is learning to use the drill to srew them in. I think it was a big success.

This is a great toy for a 3 year old. They love the drill motor and have a good time with all the 'screws and washers'.

This toy was the hit of Christmas. When my 2.5 year old daughter opened it, we had a pause in the presents for about 30 minutes so she could play with it. All of our holiday company was interested too! Very well made toy. Worth the money.

My 11-year-old son has Down syndrome. Usually with toys like this he might play with it once and then decides to throw small parts around his room. Not this one. It's a hit! He learned to follow the patterns on the cards by himself and spends HOURS with is. AMAZING. Thank you. He LOVES tools so I hit the jackpot on this one.

My 4 year old son absolutely loves this toy. It is so appropraite for him, he can do it and actually welcomes the challenges of trying to make the designs. Great toy.

My 3 year old played with this toy more than any other on Christmas morning. He has spent over 30 minutes on numerous occasions drilling and filling the entire board with screws. Any toy that can keep the attention of a 3 year old for over 30 minutes is a winner with me! Thanks for having such great products.

This product was purchased as a Christmas present for my four year old grandson. As a teacher of young children, I was delighted to see all the positive learning that accompanied the 'play'. He was reinforcing color, numbers, patterns, counting, spatial awareness, and just plain fun. He worked at it with great enthusiasm and even had help from his seven year old brother, who participated eagerly. Great fun and lots of learning as well.

The concept is excellent for applying eye/hand coordination; however, the drill construction was of poor quality. It was hard to open drill to put battery inside and material quality was poor.

I bought the Design and Drill for my three year old since he enjoys tools. He loves using the screws and changes the drill bits. He needs help using the cards, which we call 'plans' but the toy is still new. The plans teach colors, patterns and counting.

I have a 2 1/2 year old boy who loves this. He's not quite interested in the designs yet but he really thinks he's manly with the tools and the drill especially. It's a wonderful toy!
