The drill stopped working after 15 min.of play by a 3 year old. He was supervised and used the toy in a very approprate manor. Very disapointing.

Great idea, but our almost 3 year old grandson stripped the threads on the battery operated drill the first day. I'm wondering if some kind of trip could be put on the drill so that at a certain pressure the drill would stop. This could avoid the stripping of the plastic inside the drill.

Our 4 yr. old grandson loves this set. I ordered an extra drill in case one did not work and one did not work. I called customer servic and the service I received was excellent. We have a new drill with no hazzle.

I read all reviews of this product and was excited to give it to my four year old daughter for Christmas. After ten minutes of playing with the drill, it broke. We changed the batteries and still nothing. I have a very disappointed child!

This is a great toy for kids who like working with tools, the drill really works. It screws the bolt in and unscrews the bolt. When we got the toy my son played over an hour with it putting the bolts in and taking it out. He hasn't had an interest in creating the patterns but he is only 2 1/2 so that will come in time. I highly recommend this toy. Only trouble that occured in the beginning, but was remedied quickly by the company. The drill only worked in one direction to unscrew the bolts, the forward position switch did not work. Mindware sent a new drill, it works as it should. The new drill came within the week.

I got this for my grandson who is 6 and has low muscle tone...he could easily use the drill and loved putting the screws in and drilling them out again...I love that the drill has a forward and backwards action. Very well-made and I've never seen it anywhere else. Well worth the purchase!

My 3 yr old loves the fact that he has a drill that does like daddy's. He isn't interested in the pattern making with the screws. He is just happy to drill.

My four-year old grandson was immeditately enthralled by the drill set and the chance to make multiple designs with all the different colored pegs. It took him no time at all to master using the drill. To my surprise, his 8-year-old brother was also attracted to the activity and we had to make them share time with the drill. The eight-year-old was as interested in removing the pegs as he was in inserting them. The challenge of making diffent color shapes and patterns engaged them for hours. I definitely recommend this toy.

My 5 year old girl loves to make the pictures while my 3 year old boy loves to just use the tools. Toy is easy to use, well made,fun, and they keep coming back to play with it! Happy that I bought it!

This was a Christmas gift for almost 3 year old grandson. report from his was fantastic. States he plays with it all the time and she absolutely loves it too. Says watching him actually hold and manage the drill is amazing. Very pleased as we are always looking for somewhat different gifts other than you find in toy stores.

My 3 year old grandson had a great time just drilling in the drill bits. It took him just a short time to get the hang of the drill. This has kept him busy for long stretches of time!

My 3 year old grandnephew loved this drill as did his 6 year old brother. It teaches motor skills for future use of tools! It's also a lot of fun and all the kids took turns!

Wow! This is a fabulous set. Our 3-yr-old grandson played with it alone for hours. I showed him how the pieces connected and we played together for awhile. When he was able to connect his own bits, he was able to amuse himself. Can't wait until we start following the patterns which were provided. Right now he wants to do his own thing. Great for hand eye coordination. Had to tell Grandpa 'hands off'.
