Not quite what I expected. This sliding puzzle game comes with two large slide puzzles (~8" square, with the sliding squares just over an inch) and two cube shakers. You shake the color cubes to create random patterns and then lift the clear plastic cover over the puzzle and shift your color squares around trying to recreate your cube shakers pattern before your opponent. I thought this would be like other sliding puzzles, but the sliding squares are loose and can be simply lifted, or dumped out. Not the perfect road trip game I was hoping for. The price is just OK.

This game was a lot of fun! It kept me busy for hours! The only thing I would change was the sliding. I had a couple problems with getting the pieces to move. But maybe it was just me trying to rush and get my pattern right! :) Overall, a great and fun game!

This game is challenging in and of itself. It is fun to play as a single player game and as the 2 player game. Even though you think the solution is going to be easy to achieve it actually makes you work hard to get it. This game is very enjoyable.

Game is difficult for younger children. I would recommend for 8 years and up. Older girls had great time with it.

Gave to my 8 year old grandson. It was a hit with him, his cousins, aunt, uncle and us his grandparents. It is a fun game to play against someone or play by yourself.

I ordered Square Up for my 7-8 yr old daughters for road trips. We live about a 6 hour drive away from 'home' and we make that trip several times a year. I was afraid they would lose interest (I mean it's 6 hours) but, they didn't! All I heard from the back seat was clicking from the little tiles, which is a blessing in comparison to the usual disagreements, complaints, nagging, and so on. The only time they put it down was to take a nap, and then they'd resume their clicking! It was a fantastic trip, and I look forward to many more!

I've had this game for years. We just brought it to a volleyball tournament and within minutes 3 people asked what we were playing! It so much fun to play as a competition or just to play by yourself. My young day care kids love it and my teenagers love it too! Fun camping toy! Yes, you do have to be careful to not lose pieces but it does have the cover that folds over the pieces to keep them in place. We just store it all in a large baggie!

My family received this for Christmas. We couldn't get enough of this game. I ordered another one and we play it quite a bit. This is a good for for solo play or with others. We have 4 game boards now and we use 1 cube and race to see who comes in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th. We all have a blast playing this and it's very addicting. Highly recommended.

Bought for our 6year old boy. He likes to figure out puzzles and that's one of the reasons I bought it. He liked doing it everyday until he got tired of it. Now he plays with it but not every day.
