I have this in my home and have played it with 4 grandchildren now - ages 3 through 13. They always request this game. It has helped them a lot in their thinking skills.

I know that Quirkle is rated for six and up but I tried it with my four, using dominoes-like rules. He took a while to get it, but got distracted when I got out the 'RollandPlay for his younger brother. As a vet teacher, I see Quirckles with different sets of rules valuable up to eighth grade.

I bought the travel version to play with my grandkids while riding on the trains in Europe. We all love it sine it is fun as well as challenging and requires strategic thinking. Since coming back I am also playing it with my friends. Great game.

This game is a big hit. Originally purchased the travel version to take to Europe and play with my grandkids on the train trips. They loved it and so do my friends and everyone continues asking to play it. Fun and challenging as well.

I was introduced to this game by my cousin, a former elementary school teacher. she loves playing it with grown kids and grands. I got one for myself last summer,then for every familygroup on my christmas list. This summer I purchased two more for adult friends (who also play with kids and grandkids) I just love it!!!!

We were introduced to Qwirkle while visiting friends on a long weekend in MI. We are four adults - early 60s - avid gamers.Hubby and I enjoyed playing this new game so much - we stopped at a Meijers store on our return rowadtrip and bought Qwirkle. As soon as we got home, instead of unpacking in the 90 degree heat today - we played Qwirkle. I won! My hubby doesnm't like to play games as often as I do - but he said he likes Qwirkle because it makes him think.P.S. Until 'Qwirkle' my favorite game was MASTERMIND! We do not have children or grandchildren...we play games ourselves...

I have bought two of the Wuirkles now for my niece; one for her home and one for mine. She loves the game (8 yrs old). I highly recommend it.

My special education students love this game! Our only complaint is we are on our second game and the paint chips or wears off pretty quickly!

If I could I would give this game 10 stars! This is the best game ever invented! We play it with our kids and we even have game nights where other couples come over and we play 'Ultimate Qwirkle' with two bags of Qwirkle tiles! I LOVE this game!

I would give this game 5 (it is fantastic for all ages!) if Mindware had only taken red-green colorblindness into consideration when designing it. Colorblindness affects 8% of the male population. (More common than people with AB blood group). Three members of our family are colorblind and our neighbor is too. Because the colors Mindware has chosen have the exact same intensity, the blue and purple look the same, as do the orange and green. This means several members of our family cannot join and play. If Mindware had used slightly different hues (e.g. a pastel blue or a deeper green, the tiles would have been distinguishable for red-green colorblind people and at least 8% more people could enjoy this game!

The only thing stopping this from getting 5 stars is that the orange and red are far too close together. My orange tiles have now been painted white.

This was originally a gift to my 7-year-old from his grandparents. My husband and I have become addicted to it it's a perfect combination of luck and strategy, and it's just beautiful to look at. I sent a set to my sister and her husband and they have become similarly obsessed. Highly recommend!

This is a game requiring thinking by all who play it. Our family has played it with ages eight and up and it is enjoyed by them. Our almost six year old granddaughter did not 'get' it, but she will eventually.

Fun game for my twins of very different abilities. Uses attention, focus, logical thought, adding skills. Plays in about 30 minutes. Easy for younger kids if everyone lays pieces out on the table.
